The "suggested books" lists at the beginning of each unit include those that you might want to try to find at your own library in order to have a
well-rounded study. The purpose of this list is to give you ideas about which books you might choose, NOT to limit you to this list! These books are simply those that I found on my library shelves that
applied to the unit themes. Your library may have books that are equally appropriate – or better! Choose the books that you and your family will enjoy and be able to use as learning tools!
